Crank Brothers Cobalt Disc 26" Wheelset
- Premium quality Cross Country wheelset (rim spine machined to reduce weight)
- Welded, anodized 6061-T6 aluminum rim with unique "Y" cross-section
- Spokes attach at the base of the "Y" via 12 small stainless steel cylinder (yes, there are only 12 points of attachment for the 24 spokes)
- Without holes, the rim maintains high strength and is great for tubeless
- TwinPair spoke design: half stainless steel and half aluminum (think of the aluminum half as more of a super-elongated standard nipple)
- Truing is accomplished with a standard spoke wrench, and spoke replacement can be accomplished without removing the tire
- Front hub is standard quick release, rear has four cartridge bearings, 17mm axle and incorporates a six-pawl driver on an aluminum HG 8/9sp freehub body (6 pawls, 3 engaging concurrently, 48 clicks per revolution)
